Become a Form Expert
GTX provides you with a wealth of accurate information for studying form in a format that's much easier to read and understand than traditional form-guides. It begins with the default field view screen where you'll find the important details and statistics you need for every horse in every race.

Field View screen
Customise the field view screen to show all the details you want in exactly the place you want them. The GTX ranking buttons on the left side display the field in many orders. Include the pre-post market, ratings and prices, key statistics for each runner as well as live TAB prices on the day. |
SmartForm™ data
GTX Smartform™ is produced in-house at TRB and is the most comprehensive form data available with up to 16 runs for each horse plus expert ratings for every run and even space to record your own comments. Download form through GTX for any TAB meeting in Australia, directly from the TRB server up to two days in advance. For example, complete Saturday meetings including pre-post prices and ratings is available on Thursday afternoon.

By clicking on a name you immediately display the form for that horse. You can customise your Smartform™ screen to show all the details you want in exactly the place you want them. Unique rating graphs make it easy to analyse previous runs and accurately predict today's likely performance. |
Unique form analysis features
One of the secrets to successful form analysis is understanding the conditions a horse has previously run well or failed in and how they relate to today's race i.e. track, class, distance, weight, barrier, track condition, jockey etc

Form Filters
You can do this quickly and easily in GTX by using the unique Form Filter function (click picture).
Filter a horse's form by a multitude of important factors and immediately discover clues about its chance that many punters miss. Depending on the data package you subscribe to, you can customise up to 16 individual filters and turn them on or off with the click of a button. They make expert form analysis so much easier!

Compare the important changes for each horse from their last start (i.e. class, weight, distance, barrier, jockey etc.) and analyse the horses you can expect to run better or worse today. Simple yet important details often hold the key to a race. |
Your own comments - the ultimate in form study
If you are a serious form student then you know undoubtedly know the precious advantage that comes from watching races and capturing vital information that isn't contained in the form-guide. GTX gives you the power to incorporate these observations and thoughts into personal databases, which means they will automatically appear against the relevant race or horse when you next study the form. |
- User Race Database: Record useful details about a race such as: pace characteristics; track bias; confirmed ratings, fast times & sectionals, subsequent winners etc.
- User Horse Database: Capture important observations about a horse's run such as your own video comments; gear changes; betting patterns (i.e. heavily backed / drifted); whether the horse was suited or unsuited; overall quality of the run and indicators for the future.

- Horse Profile Database: Build vital knowledge about a horse such as its: Preferred running style, form & fitness patterns; capabilities in terms of distance, class, weight, track and track conditions as well as insightful comments that the trainer or jockey might make.
- Black Book: Enter a horse in your black book with a comment for the future and you will see its name highlighted every time it races (until you delete it from your black book). There's no reason to ever miss out on that future winner you find!
